AVI provides leadership and guidance, ensuring our companies embrace and adhere to ISO, QHSSE, and Corporate Social Responsibility standards throughout the organizations. All companies report to AVI, looking for their Management and Leadership role to guide them on a National and Global path to success.
As a certified Corporation under ISO 44001:2017 CBR, AVI performs a leadership role by establishing Collaborative agreements with National and Global corporations to provide products and services. As an evolving upstart in the Oil and Gas evolution, Guyana requires the experienced services of many Global companies, whether it is to provide products and services unavailable in Guyana, or their expertise supersedes the experience available in specific fields available in Guyana.
What are our Qualifications?
The five main areas in AVI instill their leadership:
- Quality Assurance and Control – ISO 9001:2015 QMS. AVI believes that Total Quality Management is an essential core value to the achievement of business excellence and service since the company is ISO certified 9001:2015 Quality Management System (QMS).
- Competent Management- ISO 44001:2017 CBR. With combined management experience of over fifty (50) years and ISO 44001:2017 Collaborative Business Relationship (CBR) Certification, we are equipped and proficient in mobilizing, coordinating, managing, and successful execution of complex projects through optimal utilization of resources.
- Environmental Management – ISO 14001:2015 EMS. The AVI group seeks to manage its environmental responsibilities in a systematic manner that contributes to the environmental pillar of sustainability.
- Health, Safety, and Management – ISO 45001:2018 OHSMS. We also believe that Effective Health and Safety Management is essential to the achievement of business excellence, and this is why our Atlantic Ventures (Group of Companies) are certified ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSMS).
- Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Atlantic Ventures Incorporated (AVI) “Corporate Social Responsibility” strategy focuses on the Global Sustainability Development Goals for people, society, and the planet, prioritizing issues most important to our business and stakeholders, plus areas where we can make the greatest impact. We have a proven track record for more than ten (10+) years, with most of the charitable work done through the Give Another Chance Foundation (GACF) founded by Miranda Thakur-Deen.
